Pet Services

Why shouldn’t we have a proper funeral, either at home or at a spot loved by your pet?

That’s what I’m here to offer.

Pet Services

Losing a pet can be devastating, sometimes made all the worse as your pet cannot understand what is happening to them and they won’t understand the words used to try and comfort them.  All too often we feel we have no choice but to have our pet euthanised and left with the vet.

Pet Ceremonies can take on a variety of different approaches.  If you have a garden, you may wish to bury your pet in a favourite spot.  Sadly, we are unable to bury our pets in public spaces such as parks and woodlands but there is probably a pet ceremony not too far from you if you wished to look at this option.

Consider the following options, I am happy to accommodate them all:

Burial at home - You may wish the service to involve the burial of your pet and for it to take place in your garden. This would entail waiting at least 48 hours between the pets' passing and the ceremony.

Ashes burial - You may wish to have your pet cremated and the ceremony is about burying or scattering your pet's ashes. Some people like to place a young tree or shrub as part of the grave and this can be incorporated into the ceremony.

Memorial Ceremony - Perhaps you would prefer to have a memorial ceremony, sometime after your pet has passed. This can be in a park or open space, perhaps inviting their other furry buddies along!

Pet Cemeteries - Pet cemeteries will have their own way of ‘doing things’  I am happy to research your nearest pet ceremony and talk to them on your behalf to look at costs and arrangements.

As with all services, I will meet with you and talk to you about your pet and get a clear idea of their personality and their loves. I will produce a draft script for you to agree which will be read on the day.

The cost for a pet ceremony is £150.00 dependent on travel costs.
