Weddings

Your wedding, the best day of your life – I will do my utmost to try and make it so.  As a celebrant, weddings have to be the best part of the job, bringing couples together to share their hopes, dreams and commitments for the future.

I can be involved in solely the script writing for your wedding or can be involved more by recommending people who may sing, a band, dancers – in fact anything you want to make your day that little bit unique.  I think it is also lovely to incorporate speeches from loved ones and/or family to involve everyone and make it a day to remember.

Indoor, outdoor, quirky, unique, or more traditional, I am happy to work with you to find the perfect setting. I like to meet the couple early on, to give us plenty of time to get to know each other and ensure that I am the celebrant for you.  We can then map out what the wedding will look like but please bear in mind I am not a Wedding planner and can only advise on format, content and added creativity!

I would then write the script including any stories you may want from other key people involved and send to you with plenty of time for you to agree content, add or edit.

We then have your working script and I will be happy to source readings. poems, and music if you wish me to.  I can also recommend photographers, florists and live music groups.

As you will be aware, few celebrants can marry people legally.  You will need to have a registry office wedding prior to the ceremony.  However, in terms of exchanging your own vows and saying I do – that’s all part of your celebrant event!

My basic fee for writing the script, liaison and officiating is £550, subject to travel.
